I take my pancakes pretty seriously, and so does Marisa at Foodinjars.com. We both have griddles reserved solely for pancake-making. We both learned to make pancakes from our fathers, and use their recipes (as starting points at least). But she’s definitely got one up on me with her delicious idea to sprinkle granola onto her pancakes before flipping them. As she says, “When they were done, my pancakes were studded with crisp bits and softened raisins.” Yum!
A breakfast epiphany: pancakes studded with granola.
Spread with jam or drizzled with maple syrup, these pancakes are a tender-crunchy-raisin-flecked treat.
