If you’re in the market for a liquid measuring cup, consider Oxo’s new plastic cup, whose angled interior marks give an accurate measure by allowing you to look down into the cup as an alternative to having to crouch down to get an eye-level reading. A small thing, but one you could get used to. The padded rubber handle is very comfortable, too. The cup, available in 1- and 2-cup capacities, can be found at kitchen stores and at Kitchen Etc.
