Dorie Greenspan has invited us into her kitchen via cookbook before, and I’m more than happy to get to drop in again, this time for a collection of recipes inspired by her years of travel and living in France. I can’t wait to try her contemporary tweaks on the French canon, like Gingerbread Buche de Noel and her adorable Bubble Eclairs, which look like three small cream puffs fused together. I’ve already made her thick, chewy, subtly nutty chocolate chip cookies. I hadn’t realized I needed to look across the pond to find the chocolate chip cookie recipe of my dreams. But I’m so glad I did.
