As the classic carol goes, it’s the most wonderful time of the year—and it has (almost) nothing to do with gifts. It’s all about the cookies and showstopper desserts. Join the editors of Fine Cooking, along with special guest, contributing editor and baker extraordinaire, Abby Dodge, for a holiday baking Tweetup Wednesday, December 14 from 3:30 – 4:30 EST.

If you’re wondering how Abby gets her Classic Shortbread so tender and moist or her chocolate-dipped variation so wonderfully glossy, just ask. They’ll be plenty more of Abby’s cookies to pass around as well (remember last year’s Dessert in a Cookie story? We’re still lovin’ those crêpes Suzette-inspired Orange Butter Cookies with Grand Marnier Glaze—if you haven’t made them yet, they’re a must-bake.)
