It always amazes me how once the calendar switches over to January 1, so many cooks forget about turkey. Even those who had been obsessing about the big bird since the second week in November, seem to ignore the section of ground turkey and turkey parts that is in most grocery stores year-round.

That’s why I like this post from Cheryl Beverage Barnes at Picture-Perfect Kitchen. This Turkey Meatloaf is just the type of thing I want to eat right now. Plus, with every post, Cheryl includes three tips: planning (how to pull off the recipe), product purity (how to avoid using products with artificial sweeteners and such), and presentation tips.

Because the holidays may be over, but we still want to eat stuff that looks good.
