Lisa Schroeder, chef and owner of Mother’s Bistro & Bar and Mama Mia Trattoria in Portland, Ore. demonstrated a no-fuss fruit crisp this morning on the Today show.

Lisa proved to Ann and Al that even the host can make a no-fuss fruit crisp (did you think you were relegated to pies only?).

You can find her recipe for Mother’s Apple Crisp and 150 other comfort foods in her new cookbook Mother’s Best: Comfort Food That Takes You Home Again.

For now, enjoy the demo! (Spoiler: Al cooks at warp-speed, but you’ll get the idea, and the finished product looks devine.)
