Joanne missed the cold. She was out on the west coast for photo shoots with Cathy Whims and Nicole Rees. The crew got a little creative with a set for Cathy.
We also had a very sweet shoot here in Connecticut. Hope there are enough macaroons!
Sometimes kitchen tools, like this strainer, get too old for their proper kitchen use. Julia thinks this guy can have a great second career as a fascinator.
Juli got in really close for a good sniff and up-close look at the crumb of this cake. This is why we call her the cake whisperer.
Finally, we ended the week on a bittersweet note, sending off our intern, Julia, with a pizza party. She’s been with us a year and will be missed. At the party, talk turned quickly to roller coasters, and things got animated.
