Grilled Pizza Recipe: Create Your Own

With slightly more effort than it takes to dial up delivery, you can grill a pizza in your own backyard

Learn the basic method for grilled pizza, and you have a hundred recipes at your fingertips. You start by grilling a naked round of pizza dough, then turn it, add your toppings, and continute to grill until the toppings are heated through and the crust is fully cooked.

Our interactive recipe builder makes it easy: You add your toppings in three stages: first any sauces or spreads; second go toppings like cheeses, meats, and roasted vegetables; finally, after the pizza's fully cooked, you add fresh greens or delicate herbs like basil. Pick an add-in for each of these steps or just one, it's all up to you. Once you've built your recipe, you can print it, save it to your My Favorites folder, or share it with a friend.
