Unlike a lot of other desserts, ice cream isn’t one of the fussy ones. You start by making a basic custard and then you can steer off in many delicious directions to flavor your ice cream any way you like it.
Our custom recipe-builder makes it easy: there are three steps where you choose additional ingredients to flavor your ice cream: first by infusing the cream, then by flavoring the cooked custard, and finally, by stirring a mix-in to the churned ice cream. You can pick a flavoring for each of these steps, or just one or two; it's all up to your imagination.
The possibilities for creative combinations are unlimited. Once, I even put bacon in a batch—it was a surprise hit!
