Im the Assistant Web Editor at Fine Cooking. I grew up in a cooking household (my mom is a cookbook author), so Ive always been excited about food–first just about eating it, but now about making it.

My favorite foods to make (and eat) are dishes from around the world–the spicier the better. I love hunting for new spices and ingredients like nigella seeds when I made naan for the first (of many) time(s), radish sprouts and nori when I attempted sushi, and wild lime leaves when I made a red Thai curry.

As much as I love to cook, I see it as kind of an adventure–one that I am often too tired to embark upon on a weeknight when I get home late from work. I am working on that, but honestly (and I should be embarrassed about this–but Im not) nothing says comfort food to me like a big steaming bowl of chicken flavored ramen noodles 🙂
