Share Your Halloween-Inspired Recipes
Jack-o-lanterns are gracing front porches, and kids (and adults) are secretly ripping into candy stashes all across America. That can only mean one thing: It’s Halloween! It’s time for you to upload your spooktacular Halloween-inspired recipes for a chance at a sweet cookbook prize package. Your recipe can be anything under the sun (or full moon) as long as it’s inspired by Halloween.
Step One: If you have the Fine Cooking default avatar (the one with the wooden spoon), get creative and upload an original avatar before entering your recipe. Go to your “My Page,” click on “Edit My Settings” on the upper right corner of the window. Click “Change Your Profile Image” on the right. Upload any image from your computer (the image can be up to 4MB or 1,200 pixels). Your avatar can be a photo of you, a favorite food, an illustration—whatever you’d like it to be.
Step Two: Post your Halloween-inspired recipe and photos in our recipe gallery following the instructions on the entry form.
The contest closes at the stroke of midnight Saturday, November 7, 2009. We’ll pick one entry at random and announce the winner Monday, November 9. For the complete contest rules, click here.
