What is it?

Nori is the Japanese name for a kind of edible seaweed. It also refers to the thin, paper-like products made from shredding and drying this seaweed.

Nori is most commonly used in making sushi, but it’s also widely used to garnish soups, noodles, and other dishes. It can be made into a paste and used as a flavoring, as well.
