Jack Daniel's Ice Cream With Jack Daniels Fudge Chunks

2/3 of a cup of Jack Daniels and a fair chunk of JD chocolate fudge (just chocolate, Jack & condensed milk) make for quite a kick in this ice cream!

I simply added the Jack to the custard mix then cooked, strained, cooled & froze it as usual with the addition of small chunks of fudge at the last mix of the ice cream before it fully froze.

keeleyc writes: It freezes just fine - most of the alcohol boils off when reducing the custard down, and the fudge is the same. It still has quite a powerful flavour to it, though! Posted: 9:34 pm on July 7th

Pielove writes: This looks great-- did you have trouble getting the ice cream to freeze with all that alcohol in it? Not that it would be a problem-- just get me a straw!
