First, a huge thank you to all of you who warmed up late winter by setting the timers on your slow cookers and sharing your recipes with us. You’ve inspired us again!
CPeterman's (aka Carol Peterman of TableFare fame) Pork & Hominy Stew really stood out and we’ve declared it well up to the challenge. Somehow her recipe is able to exude the warming quality inherent in slow-cooked meals and freshness at the same time. Congratulations, Carol. Enjoy your new All-Clad slow cooker.
We’d like to make special mention of a few other stand-outs: CulinaryKizzy’s Kashmiri Rogan Josh was a lesson in culture as well as cuisine and gave us one more inspired way to cook lamb this season. We also loved AndieReid’s Pork Cubano for its citrus and rum flavor combination.

And, lest you think we’re all about pork these days, more than one of us went home and tried Texas_Foodie’s Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal with Walnuts and Crystallized Ginger and aecheniq’s gorgeous piece of meat: the Slow Cooker Sweet and Sour Brisket.
