OK, I admit, I didn't make the Caesar - my husband did. When I read the recipe to him, he insisted that he be the one to make this. We used the sourdough bread (from Panera Bread) from last night's Open Faced Steak Sandwiches - they made excellent croutons! Though not in the recipe, we also added the bacon - I can't have a Caesar without bacon. The dressing was a little bitter, and we chalked it up to either green garlic, or the lemon zest, or a bit of both. He's not too detailed-oriented, and possibly got some rind when he was zesting the lemon. We added a whole anchovy on top for the picture. All in all, a great recipe. :)
