Cook the Issue 2010: Mulberry-Apple Turnovers
comments (0) July 8th, 2010 in GalleryI picked some of the last mulberries from my very prolific tree to use in these delicious turnovers. The dough is very rich and a bit soft-- I recommend rolling it out on a piece of parchment paper so that it can be slid onto a baking sheet and put into the refrigerator as needed. These turnovers are delicious and, as the recipe states, don't worry if some juice overflows-- it comes off the sides easily and the turnovers look wonderful.
