Cook the Issue 2010: Mulberry-Apple Turnovers

I picked some of the last mulberries from my very prolific tree to use in these delicious turnovers.  The dough is very rich and a bit soft-- I recommend rolling it out on a piece of parchment paper so that it can be slid onto a baking sheet and put into the refrigerator as needed.  These turnovers are delicious and, as the recipe states, don't worry if some juice overflows-- it comes off the sides easily and the turnovers look wonderful.
