We make grilled brats a lot, including for our huge annual Memorial Day Cookout. We usually opt for onions and horseradish, but the kraut and tomato jam variant was good. I got a beautiful, fragrant bunch of thyme in the CSA box today, and the thyme simmering with the tomatoes smelled wonderful-- that tomato 'jam' would make a great condiment on other sandwiches, or maybe an omelette filling. I would put it on a pizza-- maybe with sausage and sauerkraut, haha.
