Weehoo, this is one strong and tasty drink. I was unable to find falernum, so I made my own, following the recipe of one "RumDood" (google for it). Instead of just using cloves, I used some leftover mulling spices, which included allspice and cinnamon in addition to the cloves. The result, along with the ginger and lime was very like mulled rum-- I think I will use the remainder on fruitcake. Along with the different kinds of rum and fruit juice, this made for a very tiki drink-- and the flames were a big hit. This is not going to replace my go-to gin-and-tonic, but it was a very tasty tiki treat.
