Nothing is more boring to me than talking about the weather, especially how hot it is in summer (or how cold it is in winter). But the heat wave that's descended on Connecticut of late has been of such a magnitude as to put a damper on dinner (and most other dining). Yes, it's that serious.
At my house, dinner for too many nights in a row has been a Greek salad. No oven, a little chopping, and a showcase for all that's beautiful at the farm market right now. Even with a heat-dampened appetite, though, a bowl of cucumbers and tomatoes doesn't always satisfy. So I was right there when Sharon Anderson over at Three Many Cooks posted her recipe for Greek Pasta Salad.
Just the thing to keep anyone from asking "Have you got anything else?" an hour or so after getting up from the dinner table.
