Once again, with the chef interpretation of a classic recipe feature, about halfway through I found myself asking "why the heck did I even bother to attempt this?" But I muddled through and this was the result. Lots of work. Banana is not my favorite flavor, AND I discovered someone (my brother) "borrowed forever" my kitchen torch so I had to brulee using a combination of bic grill lighter and my horrible broiler, gah. I don't really even like chocolate! I will admit that it sure looked pretty at the end of it all.
