My peach pie filling was way too liquid to fill pies with, but just perfect for another drink.  Over on FCC someone mentioned Ratafias and the peaches were just perfect for that recipe.

I won't be able to report on it for 3 weeks though and I made plum last week!  http://www.nytimes.com/2007/08/29/dining/291rrex.html

Pielove writes: Great idea-- now that is taking "lemons" and making lemonade-- but even better! I made my peach filling today and it was really soupy so I drained off and boiled down some of the liquid. Will fry tomorrow. Posted: 9:35 pm on August 31st
