I have been in such a pasta rut, this is a great change. We usually have pasta puttanesca, or macaroni and cheese, but this was so different from what I have been making again and again. And good different-- the flavors are super, especially with the yummy chicken broth and grated parmesan to bring things together. Also, I love the slight bitterness of kale with the rich pasta and squash.
I got a gorgeous Red Kuri squash in my CSA and a beautiful bunch of kale. The regular kale is beautiful in this dish-- I like the way its ruffled edge mimics the shape of the campanelle. Another delicious dish!
