Cook the Issue 2010: Long Cooked Broccoli

Long cooked broccoli doesn't have the visual appeal of bright green lightly steamed broccoli, but the flavor and texture make up for that.  This broccoli is meltingly tender.  The garlic adds a subtle kick too.
