I used some of my tomato puree to make one of the most amazing sauces of all time--Marcella Hazan's tomato-butter sauce. Four ingredients: simmer 1/2 quart tomatoes with 1/2 stick butter and a halved onion 45 minutes. Discard onion, season with salt to taste. YUM.
