Cook the Issue 2010: Roasted Sweet Potatoes with Sage Brown Butter

The CSA box included a beautiful bunch of sage today, so this recipe was perfect.  I love roasted potatoes and the sage brown butter was really delicious on top-- sweet, caramelized sweet potatoes with the rich butter, and then the slightly crunchy bits of sage.  I don't know if it will reheat well, because we ate the whole thing!

ICDOCEAN1 writes: That would be the one. Good old reliable and I an anxious to get Italian style flour for pizza and bread though. I had it one time and there was a difference in the pizza dough. I think KA carries it and maybe one of our local pizzerias, I'll check, but KA is my best shot. Posted: 8:21 am on September 19th

I have drifted off into other issues, last night the easy pizza dough from one of the issues. I can tolerate heating up the oven to 500 especially if it is nice enough to sit on the the deck. I was too lazy or I would have used the grill.

Someone on the other site mentioned a site "Eat your Books" and it sounds pretty interesting if you have a large collection...I do.

I'll be seeking out a few tailgating recipes and let you know what I cook from them. Do we have a place to post pictures etc from the other issues? Posted: 6:58 am on September 19th
