Cook the Issue 2010 - Five Spice Glazed Salmon

I didn't make the green beans for this because I forgot to buy them so I had it with sauteed spinach, YUM!

I didn't have 5 spice powder so I had to go out and buy a whole container...which means I'll be making more of this unless someone has any suggestions as to how to use it up! =)

kitchengoddess writes: hmmm, I will have to give that a try. I am not a fan of spareribs but I recently had some that a friend made in a crock pot and boy were they good.

Pielove writes: The rub for these Chinese-style spareribs has 5-spice in it and is really good on all kinds of pork preparations-- we use it for chops, tenderloin, etc. I have considered giving the rub as holiday gifts.
