Cook the Issue 2010: Spiced Yogurt Waffles with Toasted-Pecan Maple Syrup

We had my husband's favorite aunt over for breakfast and made these waffles.  These are really delicious and rich, even better than our usual recipe that includes a lot of butter.  The pecans were a great touch too-- a great crunchy bite.  My husband commented that they were also much less greasy, our aunt really loved them, and they were a big hit with me and my daughter-- a definite winner of a recipe.

Hooray for the Big Buy yoghurt article-- I always have a hard time using up the yogurt before it goes bad!
