Cook the Issue 2010: Spiced Yogurt Waffles with Toasted-Pecan Maple Syrup

This was my first time making waffles.  The first one stuck badly, but after that it was smooth sailing.  I really enjoyed the flavor of these waffles--not too sweet and lightly spiced.  A special breakfast treat, I will be making these again.
