These cheese straws are really, really good. I wanted to test drive them as a possible snack for a party I am having in a few weeks, and they definitely made the cut. All the flavors work really well together.
Two notes: my straws were fully cooked in 20 minutes, not 23 as the recipe states, and next time I would skip the light dusting of salt when you add the cheese and fennel--the straws are salty enough without it.
Also, I did not make my own puff pastry--I used Dufour all butter brand. It is a great brand of puff pastry.
