As soon as November hits, my mind runs on planning for the holidays. Holiday season, by my definition, includes Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years, and planning for each blurs into one big, technicolor, sugar-coated, 2-month-long fantasy that leaves me buzzing long after January 1st. Any blog post that helps to feed my annual obsession is welcome, and this guest post on The Creative Mama by Bree of BakedBree.com is the perfect way to start me up.
I'm already planning out my pre-season roster of holiday cookies like Joe Paterno strategizes his college football season dream team, and Bree's "How To Host A Cookie Swap" was the perfect way to organize my thinking just a bit. If you're entertaining the idea of hosting a cookie swap this holiday season, the post will be very helpful - along with any of these Fine Cooking cookie recipes...but I'm partial to the Coconut Chocolate Almond Biscotti.
