Turkey In A Hole

A hot fire in a deep, deep hole.

A hot fire in a deep, deep hole.

  • A hot fire in a deep, deep hole.
  • The turkey descends into the inferno.
  • This turkey is so tender, it almost carves itself.

With Thanksgiving just a few short weeks away, I've started thinking about how I'll do my bird this year. Poking around the web for inspiration, I stumbled upon this hilarious post from Poor Girl Gourmet about slow-cooking a turkey in a hole in the ground. If you have a fun-loving family that likes to play with fire and drink lots of beer while at it, here's your new Thanksgiving tradition.
