Cook the Issue 2010 - pumpkin soup with gruyere

I made this soup for a potluck so there were no gruyere croutons unfortunately.  The soup was big hit.  I have to say it was easy to make and I really enjoyed it.  I did find that my cheese didn't melt smoothly so there were little chunks of cheese when you were eating it, but it was nice burst of flavour ;)
