After yesterday's poorly-received creamed brussels sprouts, mouths were definitely watering over these sticky buns-- and rightly so, they are delicious. I made a half-recipe of caramel (starting with 3/4c sugar) and that was plenty-- although the extra would be welcome over ice cream. I also added some nutmeg to the filling and dough-- I love nutmeg with bananas. This made a wonderful day-after-Christmas breakfast. Don't omit the drip pan-- we had some overflow!
