Cook the Issue 2010: French Apple Turnovers

Tres facile!  This made a great breakfast.  Somehow, I feel that turnovers should be triangular-- rectangular is just not right-- so my "slippers" had pointy toes.  Also, I like a little glaze on my turnovers.  These were quite tasty-- the filling is just the right amount for four plump, well-filled turnovers.  Also, this was so easy to put together, the turnovers were ready before the oven was hot.
