I used almonds instead of pine nuts-- I'm waiting for the price on the pine nuts to come down a little more before I spring for another Costco-sized bag. Taking a cue (yet again) from liamsaunt, I decided to make a full-sized tart. Unfortunately, as I was taking the tart out of the oven, the ring slipped off and burned my arm, and I upended the tart shell all over the table. Bad words were said.
However, I had promised to bring dessert to a dinner party tonight, so I reassembled the Franken-tart shell and gobbed the lemon curd on top. A little garnish and (as the Brits say), Bob's your uncle. Phew. Tasty tart too-- I love the combination of lemon and rosemary!
