EDIT: this is my 250th recipe posted to this challenge. I would have picked something more exciting if I had realized in advance!
This recipe got decidedly mixed reviews at the linner table today. Some of us (OK, the ladies) thought it was way too rich and overwhelming. The guys really loved it. My husband told me it was better than the creamed spinach at Mortons, where he has to go often for business dinners. I personally prefer my spinach simply steamed and then tossed with a little knob of butter.
