Cook the Issue 2010 - Fresh Ham with Rosemary, Garlic and Lemon - 30th post

My ham was finished cooking almost 1 hr before it was called for.  It also hardly had any fat on it.  I am not someone who is a big fan of roasts so this would not make the top of my list.  I did love the rub, it was so delicious I just wanted more of it.  I forgot to take a picture of the sauce but it was very yummy.  Since there was hardly any fat on the ham to begin with I didn't set the drippings aside to let the fat rise.

EDIT: I realized this is my 30th post! nowhere near where you guys are at but I thought I should still celebrate it!!! I never thought I would make it to 30!!

I only had 4 people including myself and DH (who eats like a bird, yeah it's true). But lots of left overs for the other recipes...can't remember, has anyone tried the Ham spoonbread? I keep looking at the recipe and can't decide if it would be something I would like. Posted: 1:14 pm on January 13th

ICDOCEAN1 writes: No worries, Celebrate indeed! Congratulations I never counted my contributions throughout until today and I have passed the 250 mark, today you make me proud to know you, you are so determined.

This challenge was fun, good for you and your contributions and you deserve recognition, not sure what Pie meant by "whole month of cooking" though. I am going to suggest that you get all of the Awards for this challenge.

I know the challenge has been a long one and goes for several more days, but I will take it upon myself to award you the Kitchengoddess award, Go KGDSS girl!

Stick around and by all means keep on cooking the issues. Plenty of good stuff in the magazines, I'm still going full steam ahead, no pressure. Posted: 9:46 pm on January 12th
