Cook the Issue 2010 - Turkey/Chicken Broth Soup Using remaining Challenge Ingredients

Hey Pie, speaking of using things up from the challenge, I found about two cups of turkey stock in the freezer, yep sitting right next to a turkey, hope it's the last.  Not enough for two soup servings when all is said and done, but I supplemented it with my homemade vegetable and chicken stocks plus used up my roasted chicken from the night before.  I cooked the pasta and carrots together in the broth until both were done then added the chicken, a little tomato finishing with the lemon and zest, parsley and cheese, pepper to taste.  Very good bowl of soup.

This was very nice with the ciabatta that I made.

Pielove writes: That looks great-- I love turkey soup. Last night my daughter had a dream that I made an awful "glop" for the Challenge and nobody liked it. The ingredients were turkey broth, celery, milk, cranberries, and cranberry sauce. I guess this challenge has really permeated my life! Anyway, your soup looks much better!
