Avocado Fries

Avocado Fries

I used to think I didn’t like avocados. They were one of those foods I wouldn’t eat as a kid and never got around to trying again until I was a thirtysomething. Working here exposed me to a whole avocado world I’d been missing.

Now, I love them. I love them so much I made a rookie mistake recently and attempted to make guacamole from avocados I knew weren’t quite ripe, but I didn’t have the patience to wait. If you’ve even tried this, you know how that story ends.

Thanks to a post by Kristen from Dine & Dish, I’ve got a new way to get my avocado fix. If you’ve never tried Avocado Fries (she hadn’t either until she found them in a magazine) click on Kristen’s farewell-to-fried-food-for-a-while post and check out her golden, crispy, irresistible-looking wedges.
