New Dip on the Block

Besides being the official kickoff to summer, this past weekend marked another momentous event: my official fatigue with hummus. Don't get me wrong, I still love the chickpea puree, and will probably always have a batch in my fridge for pita and vegetables. But when it comes to picnics and entertaining, I'm on the search for something new to serve.

Moroccon expat Nisrine at the blog Dinners and Dreams has delivered a recipe I can't wait to try. Butternut Squash, Date & Tahini Dip has just the exotic flavor I'm looking for. Plus, it's super simple. And she even offers a no-cook substitute (pumpkin puree), perfect for when the temperature climbs.
