Trick or Treat, grill these chilies with a chunk of aged monterey jack tucked inside. They make a spicy treat on halloween.

On halloween we fire up the little smokey joe BBQ on halloween and park ourselves out on the front porch. We take a bowl of these chilies along with a bowl of candy with us and start roasting chiles. We steam the skins off in a paper bag. Then we slice a little pocket and stuff a chunk of aged monterey jack cheese inside. Yummm... Now the trick or treaters have a choice. You decide which is the trick and which is the treat. Perhaps, you will say they are both treat! Happy Halloween
