Thank you so much to all the dedicated cookie bakers who shared their cookie recipes in our 2011 Holiday Cookie Contest. Indeed, you made us wish we were the lucky friends and neighbors who got to sample the goodies on your cookie platters this year.
Congrats to our winners. (Drum roll for our countdown, please. . .) The cookies that took Third Prize, MyMansBelly’s Cinnamon Swirl Ice Cream Cookies, had us intrigued. Ice cream in a Christmas cookie? OK. We’re game. Kwilky’s Second Prize Lemon Shortbread with Pistachios, White Chocolate & Cranberries are a winning flavor combination and the cookies look festive to boot. Our Grand Prize goes to gcsu’s Cinnamon Bun Cookies because the minute we saw them, we knew it was Christmas morning in cookie form. Thank you, bakers!
