This is a quick refreshing side dish specially goes well with spicy food! From my mom's kitchen to mine to yours :)
Yogurt, salt, sugar, chatpat masala (use cumin seed powder + black salt together or freshly grounded black paper as a substitute), cilantro, mint, 1 teaspoon oil, 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds and a cup fresh veges - cucumber, carrots, spring onions
Shred cucumber & carrots in food processor. Fine chop mint, spring onions & cilantro. Whisk yogurt to make smooth. Add pinch of salt, sugar & chatpat masala. Now mix in all the veges. Heat oil, put mustard seeds in it let them crack in oil. Turn off the heat pour this oil over salad mix well & decorate with fresh cilantro/mint.
Eat fresh or chill to consume with in few hours.
**either carrots or cucumber can be used alone as well. As shown in a picture I've used carrots only.
