By Robyn Doyon-Aitken, Web producer

April 16th, 2013

When you grill as often as author, instructor, and TV personality Steven Raichlen does, you tend to compile a cache of tools you reach for time and time again. And when you don't find a tool that meets your needs, you create one. Here, Steven shares his favorite grilling tools; he designed a few himself, so you know they'll work for die-hard grillers.

Watch the tour to see Steven's indoor and outdoor kitchens.

Leave a comment below (Now closed) for your chance to win Steven's favorite grilling tools.

Update: Congrats to Heidi50. We picked her comment at random and she's scored Steven's picks. Thanks to everyone for commenting!

Being a newbie with a Big Green Egg, I'm looking forward to seeing Steve include more recipes using HIS BGE on his BBQ University show. I am also adding one accessory at a time and having so much fun. Just completed a setup using a three section cast-iron grill,(Ceramic Grill Store). Being able to remove one section to add lump and chips makes it so much easier.

Also, maybe he could address the pros and cons of using a "dry rub" verses a brine when doing smoked salmon; or, in my case, - Steelhead.
