cherry tomatoes

Recipes using cherry tomatoes

cherry tomatoes

what is it?

Red, orange, yellow, or green, these round bite-size tomatoes are about an inch or less in diameter. Use for salads, garnishes, quick sautés, and eating out of hand.

don't have it?

Use pear or grape tomatoes instead.

how to choose:

Smell the tomatoes to check for ripeness; they should be very aromatic.

how to store:

Leave tomatoes at room temperature until you're ready to use them. Refrigeration causes loss of flavor and a mealy texture.
