what is it?
Flatter and wider than spaghetti, but thinner than fettuccine, linguine (which comes from the Italian word meaning "little tongues") is a long, flat pasta. Traditionally, linguine is served with pesto, but it's also popular in seafood dishes, like the classic Linguine with Clam Sauce.

how to prep:
As with most other pastas, cook linguine in generously salted boiling water until tender.
