what is it?

Moscato, or Muscat, generally refers to a variety of sweet, often fortified wines made from Muscat grapes. Regions of France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, even Australia and California are known for growing Muscat grapes and making them into dessert wines. Moscato D'Asti, a sweet and lightly sparkling wine, is a particularly popular Muscat produced in the Piedmont region of Italy.
