How to Skin Hazelnuts

When you cook with hazelnuts, you'll want to remove their thin papery skins, which tend to be bitter. You could toast them and then rub them in a kitchen towel, but it's messy and you'll find that some skins can be stubborn and won't come off. There's a better way.
