what is it?

Campanelle (which is Italian for "little bell") is a bell-shaped pasta with fluted, petal-like edges and a hollow center for capturing sauce.

You can substitute any other sturdy pasta shape, preferably one with ridges or a hollow center which will catch sauce in a similar way.

how to prep:

As with all pasta, boil campanelle in well-salted water until tender.
