Good in a pinch: Sicilia Lemon Juice

We all love the vibrancy of freshly squeezed lemon juice, but it's good to have a backup handy, just in case you want that citrus zing to complete a dish but suddenly realize you don't have any fresh lemons. Sicilia Lemon Juice ($1.99), a product from Italy made with lemon juice, lemon oil, and sulphur dioxide as a preservative, is a good alternative. Found in the produce section at the supermarket, its flavor is close to the real deal. You can store it on the shelf until opened, and then keep it in your refrigerator for up to a year after opening.
